In bringing a quality membrane cartridge to our catalogue, needle placement was essential. Membrane cartridges have always lacked positive down-force to keep the grouping firmly placed in the base of the tip, especially with round and lining groupings. We've successfully achieved an extremely stable system replicating our standard non-membrane cartridges through careful engineering.
Membrane tension was the next step. We wanted to produce a firm membrane that wasn't too stiff or too soft. Through relentless experimentation, we found the perfect middle ground that achieves this down-force and tension to create a super stable tattooing experience that won't prematurely wear out your machine's motor with unneeded resistance.
Our crystal clear tips have been carefully designed with a refined reservoir for ink load and perfect flow, allowing for a consistent little puddle around your grouping to pull long, effortless lines. Similarly, our hybrid magnum tips improve ink load and flow with an easy washout. The design behind the tips combines both conventional closed-tip and open-tip construction into one universal magnum tip that captures the best of both worlds.
Our Supreme chassis introduces one of the most exciting design aspects yet - clear grouping numbers in large print. Simple but innovative, this design choice will make it easier than ever to keep your groupings organized and easily identifiable on the fly.

Bug Pin Liners Good Guy Supply Super Thin (bug-pin) Liners are built with a smaller #10 pin (0.30) size. We are able to maintain a super stable grouping and get crisp perfect lines from small groupings by doing so. We find these sub out regular tight liners beautifully, for example: you’re going to do whip a tattoo, rather than a tight 3 grab a Super Thin 5….. got some tight work around some eyes in a portrait well try a super thin 3 and enjoy lines like a single yet more stable and forgiving.
Tight Liners Good Guy Supply tight Liners are a conventional tight grouping. During the soldering process the individual needles points are drawn together into a tight very closely spaced grouping. Great for precise crisp lines.
Semi Tight Liners Good Guy Supply semi-tight liners are just that, made the way we used to make our own every day. These liners are only slightly tightened to maintain separation between every needle point thus allowing the tattooer to get easy dense black lines with minimal trauma to the skin. By leaving the grouping slightly relaxed, each needle acts on its own, minimizing the needed force required to push the grouping and maximizing pigment deposit.
Straight Liners Good Guy Supply straight liners are built for bold black dense lines. We took that loose round shader that so many people have lined with for years and slightly increased our solder length to make the grouping more stable, thus creating a perfectly round non-tightened liner grouping. These Straight liners are the replacements for loose liners.
Round Shaders Good Guy Supply round shaders utilize our long taper needle stock. They’re made from #12 (0.35mm) 304 stainless wire. We believe this harder needle stock produces a far superior, longer lasting, sharper needle. The high polish finish to the taper provides needles that produce lower trauma to the skin resulting in quicker healing times. Good guy round shaders are a loose round grouping, perfect for colouring tight little areas or producing bold single pass line work.
Extra Tight Liners Good Guy Supply extra tight liners are built for precision! Our extra long taper #12 (0.35) are soldered with the points tightly grouped together to make beautiful crisp line work.
Hollow Liners Good Guy Supply tight hollows are just that, a perfect round hollow grouping gently tightened to bring the tips of the individual needles closer together. These produce super crisp dense single pass lines with ease. The lack of a center needle in the grouping maximizes pigment load and reduces trauma significantly.
